Haryana Steelers made a big move by spending INR 2.07 crore to bring in the Haryana Steelers team player 2025, Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Chiyaneh for their squad. The team reatined Siddharth Desai and Chandran Ranjit. It surprised many that they chose to invest heavily in another all-rounder instead of strengthening their raiding department..

However, the upcoming season presents a challenge for the Steelers' defense as they will be without Mohit Nandal, who was released after reportedly testing positive for a banned substance.

The addition of Shadloui strengthens their defense further and it is their main strength. However, for the Steelers to succeed, raiders Vinay and Shivam Patare will need to step up and score points consistently. The last two seasons have seen the previous year's runner-up winning the title the following season. Manpreet and his team will be hoping to continue this trend in Season 11.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 5

The Haryana Steelers made their debut in PKL Season 5, finishing third in Zone A and qualifying for the Eliminator round. Despite a valiant effort, they were unable to secure a win and were eliminated from the tournament. Surender Nada stood out as he scored the most tackles in the tournament with 80 points across 21 matches.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 6

Unfortunately, the Steelers had a poor run in PKL Season 6, finishing last in Zone A and failing to qualify for further stages of the competition. Their foreign players Md. Zakir Hossain from Bangladesh and Patrick Nzau Muvai from Kenya did not perform up to expectations.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 7

In PKL Season 7, however, things started looking up for Haryana Steelers as they qualified for playoffs after finishing fifth in group stages. Despite putting up a good show during the tournament, they lost to U-Mumba in the eliminators due to failure at crucial moments.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 8

Season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League proved to be challenging for Haryana Steelers as they missed qualifying for playoffs by just two points with Puneri Paltan edging them out at 66 points while they remained stuck at 64 points.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 9

The Haryana Steelers were considered to be a team with a lot of potential prior to the start of the season, as they boasted experienced players in their roster. Joginder Narwal, who had made some impressive captaincy decisions in Season 8, was expected to continue his great leadership in the 9th edition.

However, he failed to replicate his magic this time around. Although Manpreet Singh, one of the most respected and aggressive coaches in vivo Pro Kabaddi, was brought on board to guide the Dhaakad boys and add more firepower to their playing style, it simply wasn't enough. Despite putting up a valiant effort similar to Season 8, the team fell short of advancing to the next round.

Haryana Steelers Team: Season 10

The previous season of Pro Kabaddi League was a breakthrough season for the Haryana Steelers. They qualified for the finals of the PKL for the first time and sadly finished the season as the runners up. Puneri Paltan defeated the Steelers by 28-25 in the PKL 10 finals.

Now, this year, Haryana Steelers team player 2025 will be charged to lift the maiden trophy for the fans. Looking at their squad and team combination, the Steelers look like solid contenders for championship in PKL 2024-25.
